The yacht is a Nauticat 515 which the owner wants delivering back to the river Hamble.

There's myself, Pete and Dave Price sailing the boat back and after a very nice, but quite expensive, meal (won't go into the price of drinks as they're horrendous) we depart Kristiansand early on Saturday afternoon.

We have wind on the nose all the way across the North Sea but it's not too bad a trip. Sail through the oil and gas fields:

Now for the trip back from Gibraltar...

Pete [Whitmore-Jones] and myself flew out to Copenhagen and then direct to Kristiansand, Norway on Friday. We queued patiently (as one does) for our baggage in Norway but only his appeared!

The guy at the desk said all bags had come off the plane and I had to fill out a Property Irregularity Report. He suspected my bag would arrive on the next flight later that afternoon.

A couple of hours later, I receive a phone call and they have my bag at the airport. Problem is it's been a little bit damaged!

It turns out that the bag had been put on the plane but somehow it hadn't got through to the collection point and had been damaged 'somehow'.

They send the bag down to the marina and they're not wrong; it looks like it's been run over!

Fortunately, the only damaged contents were my sailing boots, which are now no longer waterproof!

Now for another insurance claim!!!
