Arriving mid-morning on Saturday we proceeded into and berthed at the Albert Dock Liverpool.

Great to see all the people cheering us in (there's a few locals on board so we probably got the biggest cheer from friends and family ) and quite a few came on board, looked around and had a chat.

Of course there is quite a big media interest in this and it was dodge the cameras for a while

However, still work to be done on the yacht so (taken on the Sunday morning)...

Before travelling in style to the yacht club - another pint you owe me Lisa!! - for lunch and the Beatles tribute band.

Travelled down and got to Liverpool'08 mid-afternoon on Monday and helped finish preparing the boat for the delivery to Liverpool.

We slipped the marina at around 1900 hours, refuelled and then headed into the Solent and West through the Needles.

The original plan was to try and get across to Dublin for some 'team building' exercises but, due to poor wind conditions, i.e. there wasn't any wind! we headed round to Holyhead, Anglesey, arriving at midnight on the Wednesday.

Kindly hosted by the yacht club there the entire fleet departed late afternoon and motored across to Liverpool.

Travelling down to Gosport tomorrow for the delivery of Liverpool08 to Liverpool.

Not sure exactly what the itinerary is as yet but I would imagine there may be a team-building stop-off en-route.

- Leg 1: Liverpool - La Rochelle - Salvador, Brazil

- Leg 2: Salvador - Durban

- Leg 3: Durban - Freemantle

- Leg 4: Freemantle - Singapore - Qingdao

- Leg 5: Qingdao - Hawaii - West Coast America

- Leg 6: West Coast America - Panama - Jamaica

- Leg 7: Jamaica - New York - TBC - Europe

Assuming all is well, looks like Christmas in Australia this year
